Content filter as of LCOS 8.50: Different "blocked content" messages for HTTP and HTTPS requests

Description:

As of LCOS 8.50, the content filter gained the capability of filtering HTTPS requests. However, the "blocked content" messages displayed by the browser for HTTPS requests are different from those for HTTP requests.

The content filter is unable to analyze the encrypted HTTPS packets and therefore cannot replace the HTTPS page with its own "blocked content" page. In the case of a blocked HTTPS request, the web browser displays an error message, which differs according to the browser type.

This document illustrates the "blocked content" messages for the most popular browsers.
